Greenfield Meet: 10/8/09 & Crystal Springs 10/10/09

Finally, here are the results from yesterday's meet at: Crystal Springs Results
Congratulations to all the boys and all the girls who ran at Crystal Springs. For those who haven't yet seen the results, the boy's team came in second overall, only four points out of first place. In a big meet like this, four points is a very small difference.
This is a BIG invitational meet, with all divisions competing, so this result is a great accomplishment. However, there are some schools in our division (Division IV) that did not compete yesterday, so we haven't yet seen all the competition in CCS.
The girls came in seventh overall, with only one Division IV school ahead of them. Taj was not running, so we only ran six runners.

From the Monterey Herald: MTAL meet
"King City's Samuel Hales won the boys race in 16:38.18, while Carmel's Melanie Hong won the girls race in 19:51.20 at Carmel State Beach. The Padres won both the boys and girls meets."
